Welcome to the Holy Family Pickleball website!

We are pleased to introduce the Holy Family parish to one of America's fastest growing sports - Pickleball!

We have lots of info about the game on our info page. If you want to get familiar with the game, head on over there (click here) and take a look at some of the info resources we have located for you.

Thanks to the hard work of parishioners Joe Imorde and Cathletics director Kevin Ziesig, we have acquired equipment to provide free open play in the gymnasium. See the calendar for times.

We have 3 playing courts available. The format is geared to all levels of players - those who just heard of it to some more experienced players. This is a friendly atmosphere with some great opportunity to learn the sport and improve your game by learning from some more experienced players.

We also offer a beginners' hour & leagues for those who are just starting out and need some court experience with like-skilled players.

NOTE: Please add your name to the email list and complete the waiver form BEFORE coming to play. All players must have had registered before being allowed to play.

Did you know....?

When tested with a FitBit, players racked up about 7,000 steps playing pickleball for about 90 minutes.

A 160-pound adult can burn about 250 calories playing pickleball for 30 minutes of casual play (a 200 lb adult would burn about 350 calories).

There is a 2 inch difference in height between a pickleball net and a tennis net (34 for pickleball vs 36 for tennis).

NOISE MYTH: The noise of a pickleball hitting a paddle is 30% LESS LOUD than a ball hitting a tennis racquet!

Don't Be Left Out
